This information, which is entered into the Foundations database, may include: name, address, phone number(s) and e-mail address(s). Donors may request anonymity and will be recorded as such in the database and will not be included in donation listings. The information collected is not shared with any other organization or persons other than the Arts Recreation and Community Services Department of the City of Walnut Creek.
Web Site:
Donations may be made through the Friends of Civic Arts Education Foundation web site where name, address, phone number(s), e-mail address(s), donation amount and Credit Card information are entered. Payment is made through ‘Paypal’ which maintains its own Security Policy.
e-mail postings:
The Foundation sends out notices of events through Constant Contact to all supporters with e-mail addresses in the Foundations database. Recipients of these e-mails are able to unsubscribe from this service if they so desire.
Scholarships:
The mission of the Foundation is to provide scholarships by way of financial support and advocacy for The City of Walnut Creek’s Civic Arts Education (CAE) programs. Personal and financial information of any persons receiving a scholarship is not shared without their prior approval and is securely maintained in Civic Arts Education and the Civic Arts Education Foundation.
Credit Cards:
Credit cards may be processed using wireless systems at the Friends of Civic Arts Education Foundation fund raising events. This information is processed through a merchant account so that funds flow directly into the Foundation’s bank account. The merchant receipt slips are held in a secure place until banking is finalized after which they are destroyed.
Hard copy personal information is maintained in locked drawers and computer lists and databases are secured by login passwords.
